The Mystery City
In several travel publications the Queen City of Buffalo, New York has been reguarded as a mystery. What they as well as some of the locals have not understood is that the average Buffalo citizen knows and believes in the work ethic and completing each asigned or contracted tasks in complete dedication with absolute pride. This explains why at times Buffalo operates outside the norm of most Northeastern American cities. In this nightlife presentation of this city is one area which should start to uncover the mystery which is Buffalo, New York.
Life of a Buffalonian
Buffalo City Life means WNY fun and entertainment at night: dance clubs, bars, parties, festivals, shows, restaurants, live music and so much more. The idea is to go out and have good old-fashioned good time with friendly people and an enjoyable atmosphere.

Buffalo, N.Y. (WKBW release) -- Buffalo Mayor Byron W. Brown on Tuesday announced a gigantic economic opportunity for small businesses in the Buffalo area that don’t have a website but want to establish an online presence.
Google, one of the biggest names in the Internet business, will make a stop in Buffalo on Friday, November 18, 2011 to offer free web tips to small business owners.
“97% of people who use the Internet research local products and services on line,” said Mayor Brown. “52% of small businesses in New York have no website. Google will help small businesses in Buffalo get online quickly, easily and for free.”
The Google Team will help small business owners create a website at the workshop. A free customized domain name, and hosting for a year, will also be offered to participants.
Space is limited to only 120 businesses for this free event. RSVP at: www.newyorkgetonline.com/rsvp or call 716 444-0864.
“The more we can promote small businesses in New York, the more we can help the local economy grow. Customers are going online to search for what they need and we are committed to helping make sure New York small businesses are online too so customers can find them,” said Scott Levitan, Director of Small Business Engagement for Google.
Google is coming to Buffalo as part of ‘New York Get Your Business Online’, a Google-led program dedicated to driving economic growth by providing New York’s local businesses the tools and resources to get online, and succeed on line.
The Buffalo workshop will be held on November 18, 2011 at the Embassy Suites Hotel at the Avant Building, 200 Delaware Avenue from 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Gigi’s Restaurant, a staple for good old fashioned soul food in Buffalo, is an example of one local business that hopes to benefit by developing a friendly image on the web as a way to build business, and attract new customers.
“We’re really excited that Buffalo was selected as one of the launch cities for Google’s ‘New York Get Your Business Online’, said Mayor Brown. “As Mayor, I encourage small business owners in Buffalo to register right away for this tremendous opportunity.”
